"You have two lives, and the second one begins when you realize you only have one." My second life began in 2022, at 38, when I faced two devastating diagnoses at once — breast cancer requiring a mastectomy, and Type 2 Diabetes.
When my endocrinologist said reversing my diabetes was highly unlikely, I chose to try anyway. I immersed myself in medical research, applied scientifically proven biohacks, and tracked my progress with a continuous glucose monitor. I reshaped my diet to reduce blood sugar spikes, incorporated strength training and cardio, and prioritised mindfulness, breathing exercises, nature, and quality sleep.
Within a year, I lost 16 kilograms and successfully reversed my diabetes — an achievement my doctor once thought impossible.
As friends and family noticed my transformation, many turned to me for guidance. I helped others achieve weight loss of up to 20 kilograms. To build on this, I obtained certification in Integrative Medicine and Functional Health Coaching, and now lead a sugar-conscious community focused on metabolic health.
